This is me and my little brother on his birthday. This was when he was about 4 yrs old. This was a special day because he got a little bit older, and we were there to celebrate his birthday with him. I liked it because it was when we were both small and we were hugging and we don't really have moments like that now because we're older.

I chose this picture because it is from our religion.This picture represents my Catholic religion. It is important to me because since I was young my mom always took us to church on Sundays.

Part of my life consists of activities aside from school. I enjoy listening to music because I find it relaxing. This song alleviates my stress and this type of music is very interesting to me.  I like to listen to it all the time and this song, Follow me(cosmic gate remix) by George Acosta is very cool. 

HEART - Friend

  The little lips were given to me by my best friend Jenesis. She has been there for me through many hardships and supports me in my aspirations to attend a college or university. I appreciate the token because each time I see it, it reminds me of her. It is a symbol of our strong bond and our commitment to one another… = ) (wink wink)

The shirt I received from the Chicano Youth Leadership Camp is a symbol of the delightful experience at the San Diego State University. There, we collaborated with community leaders and were informed about the Chicano culture and became aware of social issues. My commitment to this program has prepared me to initiate a club at school, which encourages participation from the school community. The experience I received allowed me to gain insights about a higher education and has inspired me to make a difference in my community.
