youTHink Radio Project 2008
youTHink Youth Radio projects were produced by Johanna Cooper. Sadly, Johanna passed away on July 10, 2008. She will be missed, but her work lives on. May her memory be a blessing.
This winter 2007-2008,youTHink student interns share their experiences gathering family stories, showing the importance of preserving family history,
seeing their family stories in the context of the history of Los Angeles and what they learned over the course of this project. As part of this project, students visited The Autry National Center's Community Gallery. Each student chose an artifact from one of the exhibits that had a personal connection for them.
